I am genuinely curious if there is a pay off for some people keeping themselves in a problematic state. Maybe because it's comfortable. I read not long ago that sometimes we will subconsciously create drama for entertainment. Maybe a distorted version of this. Or it's comfortable being at the mercy of the world around themselves and assuming no responsibility for our life conditions.

Many things to learn from this for me.
