Passed away peacefully at Awel Tywi Care Home on 2nd August, after a long illness bravely borne, Helen, aged 81 years, of Hillside, Heol Penlanffos, Carmarthen.

Fondly remembered former Home Economics teacher at Tregib Secondary School, Llandeilo.

Beloved wife of Michael, fond godmother of Clare, David and Ben, dear cousin of Eleanor, David and Judith and a dear friend to many.

Funeral on Friday, 28th August 2026. Public Service at Llangunnor Parish Church at 11.00am. with private cremation to follow.

REG UPTON

Passed away peacefully at home on 31 July after a long battle with illness, Reg Upton of Carmarthen.

Cherished and beloved husband of Sharron, amazing father to Shelley and Nicholas, proud Gramps to Liam and Isabella.

Reg will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.

Reg will be fondly remembered for his business Jolemor, his years of coaching football and his membership with the Round Table, Rotary Club and Chamber of Trade.

He was passionate about helping others and was a familiar and respected face in the community for many years.

Funeral on Saturday, 5 September 2026.

Public Service at St Peter's Church, Carmarthen at 11.00am.
