Back to the Forest 🫶

Went back to the beautiful Forest of Dean this weekend and it felt so good to be amongst the trees again , remembering my roots and visiting places from before 🌳

There’s something about being in the forest that brings me straight back to myself , the smell of the earth, the sound of the leaves, the quiet magic tucked away between the trees.

Was lovely to catch up with friends and co creating a sound bath with Alex Redworth looking forward to future events combining our sacred sound magic your flute playing was epic !!!

So much fun, so much laughter, and a little reminder of just how much I need wild places like this. 🍃🌙

An All-Night Sonic Sleepover & Gong Bath

30–31 October

As autumn turns towards Samhain, we invite you into a night of deep rest, ritual and sound.

The Deepening is an immersive overnight journey a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life, settle into your body and allow yourself to be carried through the night by an expansive tapestry of sound alchemy.

We’ll begin together with a beautiful Blue Lotus blessing, opening the space gently and intentionally before moving into layers of sound, vibration and stillness.

Through the night, you’ll be held by:

🌙 Deep gong journeys
🌙 Crystal bowls & sacred instruments
🌙 Voice and harmonic sound
🌙 Gentle meditation and ritual
🌙 Periods of silence and deep rest
🌙 An expansive tapestry of sound alchemy woven throughout the night

Bring your bedding, pillows, blankets and everything you need to make yourself completely cosy. This isn’t about staying awake or “doing” anything you can drift in and out of sleep, dream, rest and simply receive.

As the hours deepen, so do our expansive sounds

For the last two years, I’ve been quietly writing a book about Goddesses.

It’s been such a healing, creative and sometimes surprising journey, and it’s now in the editing stage… which means I’m probably going to be boring you all with Goddess songs for a while 😂

I already had chants written for different aspects of the Goddess, but while making music with Shiva Moon, we thought… why stop at chants? Why not turn some of these stories into songs too?

And honestly, watching the book begin to come alive through music has been so much fun. 🖤

So here is our newest one…

A song of crossroads, torches, shadows and the Goddess who walks between worlds.

Stuck in the mud

Yesterday stood watching my kiddos absolutely loving getting themselves stuck in the wet sand 😂

Pulling their feet out, sinking back in, wobbling around and laughing at the whole thing.

And it made me think…

As adults, we hate feeling stuck.

We panic , well I do !
We think we should be moving forward, achieving something, knowing where we’re going. We fight against those seasons where life feels heavy and our feet just won’t move as quickly as we’d like them too .

But watching them , there was no worry about getting stuck.

They were just in it

Feeling it. Playing in it , Laughing in the mess.

Maybe there’s something to learn from that.

Sometimes we’re not meant to fight our way out immediately. Sometimes we can just be where we are for a little while.

Feel the earth beneath our feet.
Let ourselves wobble.
Get messy.
And trust that we’ll move again.

Because being stuck doesn’t mean we’ll be stuck forever.

And sometimes the muddy bits of life make the best stories 🤎
