🏃‍♀️ 3 WEEKS TO GO! 💗

In just three weeks, our lovely Annette will be taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon all for Liwsi. 🥹

She’s taking on 13.1 miles to raise money for Liwsi and to help give her a little extra support in the journey she’s on.

We honestly couldn’t be more grateful that Annette has chosen to take on such a huge challenge for our girl. ❤️

Next month, Liwsi’s dad is taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice. ❤️

And I honestly don’t think we could choose a charity that means more to our family.

Ty Hafan isn’t just a hospice to us. It’s a place where we can breathe.

A place where, for a little while, the medical stuff can fade into the background and we can just be a family. Somewhere we’ve been given precious time together, respite when we desperately needed it, memories we’ll treasure forever, and a sense of peace that is sometimes so hard to find in our world.

But perhaps most importantly, Ty Hafan has given us a sense of belonging.

We’ve met the most incredible families there. People who understand without needing an explanation. People who have become part of our journey and our lives.

And then there are the staff… the nurses, carers, play team, therapists, kitchen staff, cleaners, receptionists and every single person who has crossed paths with our family. Every one of them has played a part in making Ty Hafan feel like a safe place for us.

A little piece of Ty Hafan will forever live in our hearts❤️

So next month, Liwsi’s dad will be running 13.1 miles for the place that has given our family so much.

For the families who need somewhere to breathe. For the children who deserve the very best memories. For the parents who sometimes just need to feel held. And for the incredible people who make Ty Hafan what it is.
