Shout out to Eve Young for delivering an amazing Pilates session to help loose everyone out at the mid point, everyone has been raving about it since and so much so, that she will be taking a month Pilates class to help the FitFam improve with mobility and flexibility🙌

Just over 2 years since Catherine Shannon Joanne Jones joined Paragon and have both lost 3+ Stone whilst maintaining it!

Increased fitness, strength, and completing C25K are just some of the fantastic WINS they have achieved 👏

The biggest credit goes to their commitment and consistency over the past couple of years, rarely missing sessions and always giving it there all in sessions, as well as being a big part of social and community events!

Show these two legends a massive fist pump of appreciation 👊👊

Big Mac Fake Away 🍔

Credit to FitFam member for this mouth watering dish😋

Ingredients (serves 4)
For the filling
500g beef mince (5% fat)
1 onion (finely chopped)
6 mushrooms (finely chopped)
100g Gherkins (finely chopped)
Salt and black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 beef stock cube
2 tbsp gerkin water
1 tsp american mustard
1 tsp tomato puree

For the sauce
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp finely chopped pickles or relish
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp paprika

To assemble
4 pitta breads (toasted)
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
3 baby plum tomatoes
1/2 onion, finely diced
Dill pickle slices (few from weight above)
1 light burger cheese slice for each pitta

Method
Make the sauce
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and chill while cooking.
Cook the beef
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add the mince and break it up well. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Cook until browned and slightly crispy in places.
Warm the pittas
Toast the pitta breads for 1–2 minutes so they stay soft and open easily.
Assemble
Cut open each pitta pocket.
Spread in plenty of sauce, then add:
shredded lettuce
cooked beef
cheese
onions
pickles

These legends have been achieving small wins consistently over the past 1.5 years with nutrition, fitness, strength, and overall confidence within themselves!

It's incredibly to see how supportive they are to each other and the rest of the FitFam, and deserves and mass fist pump of appreciation for all the hard work and consistency they have shown👊👊

Crispy honey chill chicken

Ingredients
Chicken
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp wholemeal flour or plain flour
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil

Sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1-2 tsp sriracha or chilli flakes (adjust heat)
1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
2 tbsp water
To Serve
tenderstem broccoli
Basmati rice 100g cooked

Macros -
Calories 560 kcal
Protein 43g

I am delighted with this very thoughtful plack that was designed by FitFam and reflects the foundations of our training (barbell & kettlebell), and was presented during our 5th birthday a few weeks ago!

I might one day add in dumbbells😅
