A huge heartfelt thank you from myself, the manager, and all of the team at South Cary House to everyone who supported our Garden Party today.
To the local businesses who kindly donated, our wonderful stall holders, talented musicians and entertainers, the fabulous majorettes, the amazing animal visitors, our dedicated volunteers, and the incredible MacMillan team — thank you for helping make the day so special.
Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came along, joined in the fun, shared smiles and laughter, and supported such an important cause. Because of the kindness and generosity shown today, we have raised an incredible amount for MacMillan, with the final total to be confirmed next week.
Seeing our residents smiling, laughing, dancing, and truly enjoying themselves made the entire day so worthwhile. The atmosphere, community spirit, and support shown by everyone was genuinely overwhelming, and we feel incredibly proud and honoured to have been part of it.
Today was a beautiful reminder of what a caring and supportive community Castle Cary really is, and we are already excited to plan more events throughout the year to continue bringing people together.
