We were incredibly lucky to be invited to the Memory Café Garden Party, held in one of our wonderful neighbours' beautiful gardens. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by colourful flowers, flourishing fruit trees, and so many charming features that made it such a peaceful and welcoming place to spend the afternoon.

Our residents had a truly wonderful time, enjoying garden games, listening to music, singing along to favourite songs, dancing, and sharing a delicious buffet together. It was heartwarming to see so many smiles, hear so much laughter, and watch everyone making special memories with friends old and new.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this lovely afternoon possible, and especially to our generous neighbours for opening their stunning garden to us. Your kindness, warmth, and hospitality meant so much. It was a truly special day that will be remembered by everyone who attended. 💕🌸🌳🎶

🌻 We are so proud to share our very own beautiful sunflower! 🌻

As part of Cary in Bloom, our talented residents designed and created this wonderful sunflower, which is now proudly displayed outside our home. 💛

The historic town is looking absolutely stunning, with so many vibrant sunflowers brightening the streets for the celebrations. We're delighted that our own creation is part of this fantastic community event, and we couldn't be more chuffed with the results! 🌻

A huge well done to our amazing residents for their creativity, teamwork, and artistic flair. We hope everyone enjoys spotting our sunflower as they explore the town! 💛🌻

🌞🌊 What a fabulous day out at Bowleaze Cove! 🌊🍦

We made the most of the beautiful summer sunshine with a trip to Bowleaze Cove, where we enjoyed the fresh sea breeze and stunning coastal views.

Our day started with a delicious fish and chip lunch, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed—because let's be honest, fish and chips always taste even better by the sea! 🐟🍟

After lunch, we took a leisurely stroll along the pier, taking in the views before treating ourselves to a well-deserved ice cream. 🍦😋

It really was the perfect summer day by the coast!

Our residents have been enjoying some wonderful arts and crafts sessions, creating beautiful sunflower paintings inspired by the bright colours of summer. 🌻🎨

Creative activities like these are always popular and provide a fantastic opportunity for residents to express themselves, relax, and enjoy spending time together. It's been lovely to see everyone's artistic talents shine through, and the finished masterpieces look amazing!

These sessions are an important part of life in our home and are always thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who takes part. 💜

We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor from Kelly's Donkeys recently! 🫏💕

The wonderful Charlie came to spend time with our residents, making his way around to greet everyone and bringing plenty of smiles along the way. Residents were thrilled to meet him, enjoying the opportunity to stroke, interact with, and get to know such a gentle and friendly donkey.

Animal visits always bring so much joy, comfort, and conversation, and Charlie's visit was no exception. It truly made for a memorable and heartwarming day that everyone will cherish.

A huge thank you to Kelly's Donkeys and, of course, to Charlie for making the day so special! ❤️

🌞🎉 Save the Date – Summer Fête! 🎉🌞

Join us on Saturday 15th August from 2:30pm – 4:30pm for an afternoon of summer fun, entertainment, and community spirit!

There will be plenty to enjoy, including refreshments, games, stalls, fundraising activities, and much more. It's a wonderful opportunity to bring together residents, families, friends, and members of the local community for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon.

🌻 Our residents have had a wonderfully productive few weeks painting beautiful wooden sunflowers in preparation for celebrating Cary in Bloom. The creativity and enthusiasm on display have been fantastic to see!

We also enjoyed celebrating Somerset Day with a lovely tipple of cider and a selection of delicious Somerset cheeses 🧀🍎

It truly made for a wonderful time filled with laughter, creativity, and great company. 💛
