We’d like to ask for your patience and understanding as our pharmacy team is currently dealing with a very high volume of prescription requests.

If you have ordered a prescription within the last two weeks, we kindly ask that you collect it as soon as possible if you haven’t already. Our prescription drawers are currently at full capacity, and collecting your medication promptly will help us make space for new prescriptions and keep the service running as smoothly as possible.

Thank you for bearing with us during this busy period. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated by our team as we work hard to provide the best possible service to everyone. 💙💜

Local Public Holiday Closure – Monday 15 June 2026

Please note that our pharmacy will be closed on Monday, 15 June 2026 due to the local public holiday.

If you require urgent medical advice while we are closed, please contact NHS 24 on 111. This service is available 24 hours a day. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 999 immediately.

The following pharmacies will be open on Monday, 15 June 2026:

• Boots Pharmacy, St Cuthbert Street, Kirkcudbright – 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Boots Pharmacy, Garden Hill Primary Care Centre, Castle Douglas – 8:30am to 6:00pm
• Well Pharmacy, Dalbeattie – 9:00am to 6:00pm
• KBT Pharmacy, Kirkcudbright – 2:00pm to 5:45pm

We encourage patients to ensure they have sufficient medication in advance of the holiday period.
