Join Our Care Team at Breadalbane Residential Care Home

Located in Castleford, Breadalbane Residential Care Home is looking for compassionate, reliable Day Care Assistants and Night Care Assistants to support our residents on a rolling shift pattern.

Available Roles & Shifts

* Day Care Assistants
* Hours: 21 hours per week
* Shift Times: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM

* Night Care Assistants
* Hours: 30 hours per week
* Shift Times: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

* Assist residents with daily personal care, mobility, and personal hygiene.
* Provide warm, empathetic companionship and emotional support.
* Assist with meals, hydration, and maintaining a comfortable environment.
* Maintain accurate care records and report changes in resident well-being.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and senior care staff.

What We Are Looking For

* A genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
* Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
* Reliability and flexibility to work a rolling shift pattern (including weekends on rotation).
* Previous care experience or an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, but a compassionate attitude is essential.
