THE BAREFOOT HORSE SERVICES:
Barefoot is my business...Allow me / us to help your horse to a healthy metal free life. I am extremely passionate about Horses and their Health and FEET. My aim is to provide a service to my best ability and support people and their horses. I have a small bespoke online shop that will firstly help and encourage some horse owners to be aware of a more natural approach to all aspects of Equine Health and Hoof care ownership, by developing a better understandings of the horse’s natural needs and assist the care of their horse's hooves.
I have come from many years study and is certified as a Professional Barefoot Mentor and Hoof Care Professional Trimmer with Liberated Horsemanship. Also, certified with for alternative therapies in the art of Healing, Equine Iridology, Bach Flower Remedies and certified in Herbalism, Permaculture, Human Massage, Aromatherapy and a Reiki Master. I have studied under various trimming techniques giving her a rounded approach, observing the different philosophies and methodologies, My strong influences have been from Jamie Jackson's teachings, Bruce Nock Of Liberated Horsemanship, Nick Hill mentored Emma in Bulgaria with Ralitsa Grancharova, DVM, MRCVS who is an equine vet, barefoot trimmer & acupuncturist, Pete Ramey, KC LaPierre USA, Maureen Tierney's work, Equine Podiatry UK among others, including Nic barker's approach at Rockley farm.
Whilst riding in Mongolia for the Gobi gallop, Emma studied the hooves of the Mongolian horses by living alongside the Mongolian herdsmen. She again believes this has gained her a more rounded approach to Horse Health and Hoof Care management.
Over the years I have been Seeking out more natural alternatives for our horses, following leaders in this movement such as Isabella Tree at her rewinding project Knepp Wildland UK. This has excited us and helped us develop more into doing things the way nature intended.
I have alongside Liane and Andy at their Natural Boarding and Rehabilitation home of Three Ravens, assisting with the Hoof Care and some Rehabilitation Hoof Care of some poorly horses. Their success has been overwhelming and now have a waiting list for Horses in need.

The products chosen for my small online shop have done an excellent job in marketing themselves. We have recommendations from horse owners and hoof care networks all around the UK, Europe, USA and now Australia. We are the only stockist of HOOFARMOR USA in the UK, working closely with David and Brenda.
I am sympathetic and understanding, I LISTEN to my customers — they drive me to select and develop and expand further products. Emma has tried and tested the trimming tools on sale and they come with very high professional standards, being demonstrated and put to work by her and professional colleagues and clients.
I have a strong foundation with a team of professional people working alongside where needed. I absolutely love helping horses and their owners in figuring out the unique puzzle to their horse's lameness and achieving soundness, this may be stress, diet related, environment, the trim or their biomechanics and medical diagnostics; working closely with veterinarians. She has recovered horses with laminitis / founder and grows strong bonds with her community involved.
It is our ABSOLUTE PASSION to Love, empower my customers and their horses and educate the horse community to sound horses by improving their feet, soundness and well being.
