Half term has meant lots of little faces through our practice doors this week 👓✨
Children’s eye care is so important, as clear vision plays a huge role in learning, development, confidence and everyday activities — both in and out of the classroom. Many children don’t realise they aren’t seeing clearly, which is why regular eye tests are so valuable.
Children’s eyes are still developing up until around the age of 7, meaning some vision problems can become much harder to correct if they aren’t picked up early enough — another reason why routine eye tests are so important 👁️✨
We’re also very lucky to have optometrists Ben and Simon, who work closely with children both in practice and within the hospital setting, helping to support children’s eye health from an early age and manage a wide range of visual needs 💚
We always aim to make sight tests relaxed, friendly and fun, helping children feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit 🧸🌈
Whether it’s their very first eye test or just a routine check-up, we love helping little eyes stay healthy 💚
The little one featured in this video has already had 2 eye tests by the age of 4 — a wonderful example of how important it is to look after children’s eye health from an early age 👏
A huge thank you to their family for allowing us to film and share this special visit with you 😊
