“Why do you always post photos of an empty yoga studio?” 💚
It’s a question I’m asked quite a lot.
The answer is simple…
Because some spaces should remain sacred.
At Revive, our studio is more than somewhere to exercise. For many people, it’s where they come to switch off, calm a busy mind, build confidence or simply find an hour of peace.
It’s also somewhere you can turn up in your oldest leggings, with no make-up, hair scraped back, and never have to worry about ending up on social media.
Could we ask people to consent? Of course. But once class begins, we want people focused on themselves—not wondering where the camera is. We also welcome people who need privacy or may be vulnerable, and protecting that safe space will always come first.
That’s why you’ll often see photos from our walks, Run Club and community events instead. They’re public spaces.
Our community aren’t our marketing. They’re people.
And while yoga can help build strength and flexibility, for many, the greatest benefits aren’t visible at all.
So if our studio looks empty on social media…
It’s because, when it’s full, we’re busy protecting something much more important. 💚
