🩸 Blood Cancer Awareness Month – September 2026 🩸
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, helping to raise awareness of blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Knowing the possible signs and symptoms could help you recognise when to seek medical advice. These can include:
🔹 Unexplained bruising or bleeding
🔹 Persistent tiredness
🔹 Frequent or persistent infections
🔹 Unexplained weight loss
🔹 Lumps or swelling
🔹 Breathlessness
🔹 Drenching night sweats
🔹 Unexplained fever or bone pain
These symptoms can have many different causes and do not necessarily mean you have blood cancer. However, if you notice anything unusual or persistent, speak to your GP.
