Residents, visitors, and staff had a fantastic Beach Day yesterday at Greenhill House! 🌊🏖️ If we can't get to the beach, we’ll bring the beach to us!

We enjoyed an entertaining Punch and Judy show, courtesy of Johnny G Bristol children's party entertainer 🎭
Some of our residents even tried their hand at puppeteering! He also taught us how to make fun balloon animals.

We had sand for building sandcastles and dipping our toes in a paddling pool. For lunch, we indulged in delicious fish and chips, followed by a visit from the ice cream man in the afternoon! 🍦

The place was decorated with inflatable seagulls, rubber rings, and lilos. We even reserved our seats with beach towels! To top it all off, we dressed up in Hawaiian style with hula skirts and flower garlands! 🌺🌴

Everyone had a great day filled with beach fun!

A very special little visitor came to see us today! 💙👶✨

Our wonderful Activities Co-ordinator, Emma, is currently enjoying her maternity leave, but she kindly took the time to visit us with her gorgeous little boy, Damon.

At just 3 months old, Damon was the centre of attention, bringing lots of smiles, cuddles, and happiness to everyone. Our residents absolutely loved meeting him, sharing some precious cuddles, and giving him plenty of gentle little “squishes”!

It was such a lovely moment filled with warmth, laughter, and joy. Thank you, Emma, for bringing your little bundle of happiness in to see us , we loved every minute of your visit! 💙🌟

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative with a fun doily art session! Using colourful paints, paper, and delicate doilies, they created some beautiful pieces of artwork, each one as unique as the person who made it. 🎨

The session was filled with creativity, conversation, and plenty of smiles. It's always a joy to see our residents expressing themselves through art while enjoying each other's company and celebrating their wonderful talents. 🌸✨

Well done to everyone for creating such lovely masterpieces! 💖

🎶✨ Music, Smiles & Great Company! ✨🎶

Last week, our residents were treated to a fantastic afternoon of entertainment from ACE Resonance ! 🎵

There was plenty of singing, toe-tapping, and dancing along to some wonderful music. Residents also had lots of fun joining in with percussion instruments, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter, rhythm, and smiles. 🥁

Music has such a special way of bringing people together, sparking memories, and lifting spirits, and this was certainly an afternoon to remember. A huge thank you to Ace Resonance for providing such an enjoyable performance! 💙

🧁⚽ A little baking, a little creativity, and a lot of smiles! 💙

Our residents had a fantastic time decorating cupcakes with a World Cup theme. From sprinkles to football-inspired designs, everyone enjoyed getting creative, and of course, the best part was tasting their delicious creations afterwards! 😋

Activities like these are a wonderful way to encourage creativity, conversation, and plenty of laughter while bringing everyone together.

We're all looking forward to tonight's match and will be cheering on the Three Lions. Wishing England the very best of luck—come on, England! 🏴⚽🤞

⚽🏆 World Cup Fever Has Arrived! 🏆⚽

Our residents have been getting into the World Cup spirit by creating some fantastic bunting and taking part in a fun sweepstake! 🇬🇧🎨

There has been plenty of excitement, friendly competition, and football chat as everyone prepares for the tournament. The colourful decorations are proudly on display, helping to create a wonderful atmosphere around the home.

We're now all set and ready to cheer on England in their first game tomorrow. Come on England! 🦁⚽❤️
