Ovulating every month... but still not pregnant?

Ovulation matters.
But ovulation alone isn’t enough.

Because it tells us an egg was released...
not how well it developed
or how well your hormones supported it.

If you’ve been told “you’re ovulating so everything is fine”...
and it’s still not happening...
that’s your sign to look deeper.

Ovulation tells us it happened.
Not how well it happened.

And that distinction matters more than most people realise.

If you’re tired of being told everything looks “normal” while still not getting answers, stop settling for surface-level fertility advice.

There is always a reason the body is struggling.
You just need the right person looking in the right place.

Message us “FERTILITY” and let’s start uncovering what could be getting missed.

Join Claire Eyre, NMC-registered midwife and preconceptual health specialist, on 30 June at 7:30pm GMT for a free live webinar: Why Everything Looks Normal… But You're Still Not Pregnant.

This is the conversation your clinic hasn't had with you yet.

At 6 weeks pregnant, she spotted some bleeding.

She'd been through so much to get there. The investigations. The progesterone support. The history she carried into every cycle. So when it happened, she didn't call a helpline. She messaged me.

She sent a photo. I looked at it. I told her what I saw, what I didn't see, and what to watch for. I didn't replace her midwife or her consultant — I was the person she trusted to pick up, know her case, and help her think clearly when fear had taken over.

She didn't have to sit with that alone for four hours waiting for a callback.

That's what I mean when I say I'm like a midwife in your pocket. Not a medical substitute. Someone who knows your full picture — the clinical and the emotional — and is actually available in the moments that matter.

This is the kind of support that exists. And you're allowed to want it.

💬 What's a moment in your fertility journey when you wished someone was just... there? I want to hear it.

Two women. One shared dream. Two bodies to prepare — at exactly the same time.

When Client 1 came to me, she and her partner were navigating a reciprocant IVF journey. One would carry. One would donate. Both needed to be in the best possible place — physically, hormonally, emotionally — when the moment arrived.

Most fertility support isn't built for this. The standard protocols don't account for two starting points, two different hormonal pictures, two women with different nutritional needs preparing for two entirely different roles in the same pregnancy.

We worked on each of them individually. Nutrition, cycle support, stress load, sleep — all of it, tailored separately, timed together. And it worked.

Watching two people build their family together — and knowing I was part of preparing the ground for it — is one of the reasons I do this work.

Fertility support should be for every woman in the room.

💬 Are you navigating a non-traditional fertility path? I'd love to hear from you.

Your cycle changed… and no one explained why?

That’s not something to ignore.

Because your cycle reflects what’s happening in your body.

Hormones.
Stress.
Inflammation.
Metabolic health.

So when it changes…

there is usually a reason.

If your cycle has shifted and you’ve been told “it’s normal”…

that’s your moment to look deeper.

Cycle changes aren’t random.
They’re information.

That's what they told her. Lose weight first. Then we'll talk.

She came to me not knowing where to start — overwhelmed, dismissed, and carrying the weight of that appointment on top of everything else she was already managing.

We didn't crash diet. We didn't punish her body. We worked on her blood sugar, her sleep, her cycle — all together, with care.

She made changes that felt sustainable. Her body responded. And she moved closer to the support she needed — on her terms.

You are not a problem to be fixed before you're worthy of help. You deserve support right now.

💬 Have you ever felt like you had to earn fertility care? I want to hear from you.

Fertility apps not giving you answers?

That’s because they don’t actually understand your body.

They predict patterns.

They estimate ovulation.

But they don’t see:

Hormones
Stress
Inflammation
Metabolic health

So you can follow everything perfectly…

and still feel completely unsure.

If you’re relying on apps but still confused…

that’s your sign something is missing.

Apps track patterns.
They don’t interpret biology.

Her progesterone results came back. Her GP said the number was fine.

But "fine" and "optimal for conception" are not the same thing. Her levels were at the very bottom of the acceptable range — and for someone trying to conceive, that matters.

Nobody had told her that. Not once in 18 months of trying.

We worked together to support her luteal phase. The next cycle, her levels improved. The cycle after that, she got her positive.

Your results might be "normal." But normal isn't always enough. And you deserve someone who knows the difference.

💬 Have you ever been told everything looks fine and still felt like something was off? Tell me below.

Timing s*x perfectly… and still not pregnant?

It’s not because you missed your window.

Timing matters.

But it’s not the deciding factor.

Pregnancy happens when:

Egg quality
S***m quality
And the environment

all align.

If you’ve been focused on timing for months…

and nothing is changing…

that’s your sign to look deeper.

Timing helps.
Alignment creates pregnancy.

There's a specific kind of tired that comes with unexplained infertility.

It's not just the physical exhaustion — the early morning blood draws, the timed scans, the luteal phase supplements. It's the emotional labour of having to explain yourself. Over and over. To your partner, your family, your colleagues, the consultant who has 12 minutes to give you.

You become your own advocate, your own researcher, your own translator. You learn the language of fertility medicine not because you wanted to, but because nobody else was going to learn it for you.

And when you finally get it across to someone — they still don't quite get it.

This exhaustion is real. It deserves to be named.

Swipe through if you've been carrying this. Save it for the days you need reminding that it's not in your head.

💬 What's the most exhausting part of your journey that nobody sees? Drop it below.
