🚨 Not every rapidly growing skin lesion is skin cancer.

This is a pyogenic granuloma (lobular capillary hemangioma) ❤️—a benign blood vessel growth that often appears suddenly and can grow rapidly, especially during pregnancy 🤰 due to hormonal changes.

Because it:
🔴 Grows quickly
🩸 Bleeds easily
⚡ Can become crusted or ulcerated

…it can look very similar to skin cancer, including amelanotic melanoma or squamous cell carcinoma.

⚠️ The takeaway: Never ignore a new or rapidly changing skin lesion. While many are harmless, some skin cancers can look surprisingly similar. If you’re unsure, have it checked by a dermatologist. 👨‍⚕️🔬
