Repost - Excellent infographic by Nourishing
・・・
Ranking foods by nutritional value can make grocery shopping easier, but no single food is the “best” in every category. Different foods offer different strengths, so the goal is to build variety across protein, fiber, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and hydrating produce.

Chicken breast, tuna, turkey, salmon, tofu, eggs, and Greek yogurt can help increase protein intake. Chia seeds, lentils, chickpeas, oats, raspberries, and avocado provide fiber, while foods like white beans, spinach, potatoes, kiwi, guava, red peppers, and broccoli deliver valuable potassium and vitamin C.

These comparisons are best treated as approximate references rather than strict rankings. Nutrient amounts change depending on the variety, serving size, preparation method, and whether the food is measured raw or cooked. Lower-calorie foods are not automatically more nutritious, and balanced meals should include enough protein, carbohydrates, fats, and micronutrients.

Swipe through for foods ranked by protein, fiber, potassium, vitamin C, healthy fats, water content, calories, and antioxidant content.

Great post from supergut

・・・
While many people focus on adding probiotics, they forget to give them the fuel they need. That’s where Supergut comes in. 🤝

Our blends feature prebiotics from green banana resistant starch and oat beta-glucan to help keep your microbiome strong. These fibers can pass through the small intestine and reach the colon to feed your existing gut bacteria.

When that happens, they naturally ferment and produce powerful compounds called Short-Chain Fatty Acids, like butyrate, which support:

✔️ The gut lining
✔️ Healthy blood sugar
✔️ Inflammation
✔️ Total digestive health

The bottom line: Gut health is about more than just adding good bacteria, it’s about sustaining them. Supergut provides the high-quality prebiotic fibers your gut bacteria need to do their best work for the long haul.
