South Woodham Ferrers Community First Responders

South Woodham Ferrers Community First Responders South Woodham Ferrers CFR’s are local volunteers trained to respond to 999 emergencies and provide lifesaving care until ambulance crews arrive.

It’s a unique way to make a real difference and be there for people in your community when they need it most. We are a voluntary Group who give up their spare time to be "on standby" for the Ambulance Service in the event of a life-threatening call in our area. We cover all of South Woodham Ferrers and Woodham Ferrers, Battlesbridge and many surrounding villages.
