Wanderlust Balkan Road trip 2026. Travel is using the world as your classroom. So Serbia 🇷🇸 is a land locked Balkan country gaining restorative independence in 2006. It’s 77.5 Km sq with a population of 6.5million. One of the top producers and exporters of raspberries! Nikola Tesla and Novak Djokovic are famous Serbians. We were lucky to stay by the river Sava in the Ada Ciganlija nature park before heading in to the Capital Belgrade and following night was spent in Nis. ❤️

Using this platform to showcase results and what this incredible medicine does for folks. Whilst there may be occasional posts about travel you’ll not see me broadcasting my life like a performing puppet for an audience of oohs aws and ticks. With Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine not being your bag, we can’t help all the people all of the time . Always progressing in this field. Belated Thanks for an amazing day on Saturday 18th July at the very first Dose Fest Chelmsford and not doubt the beginnings of marvellous things. The whole event with the focus on wellbeing, health, happiness, connection and community. We got to showcase Acupuncture to many folk who’ve never experienced it. For the purpose of mini treatments, sessions were offered for pain issues, stress management and issues with reduced range of movement. These were purposefully chosen so folk could measure for themselves the impact it was making. Work was done between 2 stations a bed or reclining chair. And if you check out the photos you can see how relaxed folk looked whilst receiving treatment . This gave them a taste of what it’s like to experience a full session in clinic. We got so many visitors stopping to chat, enquire or experience Acupuncture. Happy day for this Practitioner, really enjoyed the ethos and vibe of this festival and it ran so well. Plus those attending absolutely had value for money between stalls, talks, movement, and much much more. Keep your diary free for next year’s one! Hope to be there again 💚

What a fab achievement for the English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Football squad last night. And amazing sportsmanship from the lovely 🇳🇴 Norway team. Meanwhile in Essex these stairs were descended in a near normal fashion ( wonky ankle situation since end of May worsened by swimming 🫣) . Progress and achievement doesn’t need to be compared. I’m owning this and taking it as a win 😊. Here’s to your wins no matter what they are .

What are you doing Saturday week? Do you or your friends and family live local to Chelmsford? Fancy a lovely day out? No better way to spend it than at this wonderful wellness event. There might be a bit of bias here (being transparent!)
10+ years past I did many body mind and spirit events. They were always so nice. Totally lovely having engagement with folk who might never have experienced Acupuncture previously. At this event I’ll be offering reduced rates, taster sessions for pain management or reduced range of movement problems. So if you’ve been intrigued by this medicine why not grab this opportunity to explore it. Feel free to share this with friends and relatives in the area, whilst you may not be free they potentially might be! “70% Improvement “ These were the first words both the client and his wife said on arrival today! This was after last weeks session! His First One. I’ve kindly been given permission to share his story and this photo. So he is a 79 year old gentleman who has Parkinsonism but came last week with a neck collar on due to pain and tightness. He had had umpteen physio sessions but wasn’t improving. Last week’s session he looked as comfortable at this just retail whilst Acupuncture did its job. No touching or manipulation of the neck was done .

Vulnerable Post Alert. Debated long and hard about this share but going ahead has won. This may create more understanding or give hope to others. I was diagnosed with this chronic progressive familial condition in 2019 having unknowingly struggled with it for years prior to this. There is no absolute cure. It is not obesity and not related to poor willpower or diet. Hormonal changes impact the growth of abnormal adipose tissue which is firm/uneven/nodular can often be seen and felt. It impacts agility, and movement and for me it’s living with discomfort +/- pain ( on a daily basis which you won’t see). Often within the health and wellness arena the expectation is for Practitioners to be in tip top shape. Well obviously this Practitioner can’t tick that box ( through no fault of my own) does it deter from my treatments with clients? Absolutely NOT. You may note from my stories about work and travel I’m not hanging about to be fixed. I celebrate wins, and push my boundaries. One of the reasons for my travels now is because this is a progressive condition and who knows where it will take me. Meanwhile I thank it for being my teacher of resilience, strength, body positivity and self compassion. If you too are living with Lipoedema I hope this shines a light on how we can lead positive fulfilling lives and we are not alone.

Q&A episode 10. There is a place in the health arena for all types of care . No regrets for my past Nursing career for sure it shaped my present to a degree. I still have lots of friends Nursing and doing an invaluable job massive respect to them. For me changing careers at knocking on 45 was a tip top decision. I’m blessed with loving this medicine and never tiring of being curious about what it can do. Imagine never thinking or feeling like “I wish I didn’t have to go to work today” that’s where I’ve been for years and years. Never too late for change.
