Before the pre-season rush begins, now is the perfect time for swimmers to prepare their bodies for the months ahead.

Why choose me as your sports massage therapist?

Swimming has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I started competitive swimming at around 8 years old, quickly progressing to represent Essex and compete at the Southern Counties Championships for four consecutive years. One of my proudest achievements was winning a medal in the 200m IM.

When I went to University I made the Channel Swim squad, alongside five incredible teammates, we successfully swam the English Channel - I was fortunate enough to be the swimmer to touch land in France.

That experience sparked a lifelong love of open water swimming. I continued training with Tri Farm and Chelmsford Masters, competed in 5km open water races simply because I loved the challenge, and even managed to swim from Britain to America during a trip to the British Virgin Islands!

I gained swimming teaching & pool lifeguard qualifications, spending years on poolside as well as in the water.
Today, I combine that lifetime of swimming experience with my expertise as a sports massage and movement therapist.
I work with swimmers, England pathway hopefuls, masters swimmers & my own daughter as she navigated the demands of artistic swimming.

Swimmers place huge demands on their bodies—particularly the shoulders, neck, upper back & hips. Regular sports massage, combined with the right rehabilitation & strength work can help:
-Reduce muscle tension and stiffness
-Improve shoulder mobility
-Aid recovery between training sessions
-Reduce the risk of overuse injuries
- Keep you in the pool doing what you love

Whether you’re preparing for the new season, training for an open water event, or chasing your next PB, I’d love to help keep you swimming strong.

🏉 Rugby players - I may be retired from the game but I know what it takes to be a rugby player!

– are you ready for pre-season?
The hard work starts now.
Pre-season is when you build the strength, resilience and mobility that will carry you through the season. It’s also the time when injuries often begin to creep in as training intensity increases.
Sports massage can help by:
🏉 Reducing muscle tension and stiffness
🏉 Improving mobility and range of movement
🏉 Speeding recovery between sessions
🏉 Identifying problem areas before they become injuries
🏉 Helping you perform at your best when the season kicks off

Why choose? I played rugby for 20 years, from the age of 15 through to 35.
Starting at Harwich Rugby Club, I quickly moved to Sudbury RFC, where I trained alongside an incredible international who taught me what it really meant to train and compete at a higher level.
At University in Bedford, rugby became my focus. I captained the women’s team, attended England Students development squad training, qualified as an RFU Level 1 Coach and became a pitch-side first aider—often patching up the men’s team when I wasn’t playing myself!

My rugby journey continued with Lakenham Hewett RFC during one of the most exciting periods in the club’s history in National 1. Weekends were spent travelling the country—from Brighton to Carlisle—It was the highlight of my playing career.
My final club was Chelmsford Rugby Club, where increasing work commitments and a growing list of injuries eventually caught up with me. In 2018, a serious lumbar disc injury ended my playing days.
That injury changed my life.
It reinforced everything I believed about rehabilitation, movement and recovery, and inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others recover from injury and continue doing the sports they love.

I understand what your body goes through because I’ve been there myself. Returning from injury or simply want to stay on the pitch for the whole season, I’d love to help.

Did you know the pelvic floor is one of the most important yet overlooked aspects of women’s health? 🤔

Let’s change that! 🙌

Here are 5 Must-Know Facts About the Pelvic Floor for every coach:

1️⃣ Controls the urethra, va**na, & a**l ca**l: Dysfunction often shows up as leaking urine during exercise.
