Last week, Kate, our Hospital Director, and Tara, Patient Services Manager had the pleasure of attending the Gloucestershire SoGlos Awards, where we proudly sponsored the Health & Wellbeing Business of the Year category. ✨

It was a fantastic evening celebrating some of the incredible businesses and initiatives across Gloucestershire. We enjoyed hearing a fascinating presentation on the history of Cheltenham, learning more about the exciting work SoGlos has been involved in over the last year, and networking with a range of inspiring local organisations and individuals. We also picked up some brilliant recommendations for things to do around Gloucestershire this summer! 🌳

A huge congratulations to the winner of the Health & Wellbeing Business of the Year award — Jim’s Gym! 🤸

Founded by personal trainer James Hilton, Jim’s Gym provides virtual fitness classes and on-demand workouts for people aged 55+, helping members stay active, healthy and connected from the comfort of their own homes.

Yesterday, this little pink duck visited the Mammogram Department at Nuffield Health 💖🦆

This duck is part of an incredible project started by Bex Hainsworth, a mum living with stage four breast cancer, who wanted to spread awareness, positivity and leave beautiful memories behind for her daughter and family. Her pink ducks are now travelling all over the world, bringing smiles, comfort and conversations wherever they go. 🌍

Such a simple idea, yet so powerful. A reminder of strength, hope, kindness and the importance of breast cancer awareness. 💕

Thinking of Bex, her daughter, and all others affected by cancer today. Please keep sharing the ducky adventures and spreading a little joy wherever you can.
