I’ve spent the best time with a fantastic group of ladies at retreat in Los Angeles, Cadiz, Spain

It was a serendipitous meeting at another retreat that we got chatting & this fabulous collaboration came about.

I’m going international!!!

I will be closing the studio this weekend to treat the lovely guests at Root & Bloom yoga retreat in the beautiful Andalusian countryside.

The studio will be closed this Saturday whilst I go back to my favourite venue.

So pleased to have received this message today

After convincing a long time client who doesn’t like massage, to give it a try I was so happy to hear that not only was it a better experience than she imagined, she’s actually feeling great.

I had suggested some work around a large scar & her hips, as she had been limping for a long time prior to an operation.

Gently loosening up the soft tissue & working out a few tight spots, seems to have helped.

Hopefully she will be confident enough now to try it again. ☺️

And out there, even early this morning, there’s a bright shiny thing in the sky

If you get chance to get out into nature, even for 5mins, DO IT!!

Don’t forget you can still burn, especially after the winter hibernation.
Slap on a bit of spf & enjoy the sunshine this week.

Spring is DEFINITELY on its way.
There are some serious pops of colour outside - crocuses, daffodils, snowdrops and green buds on so many trees….

So, if Spring is coming it means we need to SPRING CLEAN!

Start small. It makes it easier to manage.

Who’s looked inside their make up bag or overnight toiletries bag recently?

How many opened tubes of product are there?
How many old lipsticks, eyeliner’s & foundations do you have?

Isn’t it time you cleared out all those old, grubby items?

Did you know make up & beauty products have a use by symbol?
Look on the back & look@for a little jar with an open lid.
Find the number in it. This is the number of months it’s ok to use for after opening

Is it time to throw out all those old products & use up half used travel sizes - because when will you next use them?

Don’t put them in the bin!!
In most large supermarkets you’ll find make up recycle bins/boxes.
Help reduce landfill & recycle those old or unwanted products.

This weekend is the 1st of the retreat bookings.
Back at the fabulous Cotswold Park Barns to treat the guests of yoga retreat.

The weather isn’t great but that doesn’t stop us from making our treatment barn warm & cosy
And we can imagine the sun is shining as it is in the last picture!

A weekend of massages, reiki & ear candling to compliment their weekend of yoga & mindfulness.

Today was the pilgrimage to to deliver the vast array of goodies that have been donated by clients, friends, family & people in our local neighbourhood.

The 1st of my volunteers to try out a Korean Lash Lift

The aim was for a natural lift to open the eyes
And I think that is exactly what was achieved

Really pleased with the results.
A little different technique wise but I think it’s worth persevering with.

Let’s see what the results of the lash lifts are like.

Today is the start of all the Korean Lash Lift volunteers.

I’ve been carrying out Lash Perms (as they used to be known back in the 90’s & 00’s) and lash lifts (when they were relaunched) for years!!!!

So I was really interested in learning more about this new incarnation of the very popular treatment

I’ll update you on the progress & feedback from clients.

Someone painted the sky pink & blue this morning!!
What a difference the drop in temperature makes to the early morning sky

Be careful out there, it’s a bit slippy underfoot

And don’t forget, through this cold, icy weather, we walk very cautiously.
We hold our bodies quite tight as we don’t want to fall
This usually leads to tense muscles which we will sometimes struggle to release again

Give yourself some TLC

🙆‍♀️ Do some stretches - or even better join a Pilates, yoga or exercise class that includes stretching

🥤 Drink a large glass of water

💆‍♀️ Book yourself a massage, an osteopath, McTimoney Chiropractor appointment (what do you need?)

👂 Listen to their advice!

🌳 Get out in the fresh air & nature & deep breathe

This year prioritise yourself - even if it’s just 1 hour a week to start with - and set yourself some challenges to be a better you
