We recently received a wonderful testimonial from a former patient at Runnymede Hospital. đź’™

In their story, they share their experience undergoing an anterior minimally invasive hip replacement (AMIS) procedure with Mr Evangelos Tsialogiannis, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Runnymede Hospital. The patient describes what led them to undergo hip surgery and the life-changing impact the procedure has had on their recovery and overall quality of life.

It is always inspiring to hear stories like these and to see the positive difference that expert care and treatment can make. We are delighted to have played a part in helping our patients return to the activities they love and enjoy a better quality of life.

Yesterday, the team at Runnymede Hospital welcomed the medical secretaries supporting our consultants to a dedicated Medical Secretary Forum to share hospital updates, gather feedback, and strengthen relationship between the hospital team and the secretaries who play such an important role in the patient journey.

The event began with an update on recent hospital news, developments, and future plans. Attendees were then invited to take part in an open discussion, sharing their experiences, discussing the challenges they face in their day-to-day roles, and explore how the hospital can better support them and our patients.

Following the discussion, guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea kindly provided by the team at Homewood Grove by Rangeford Villages. Then, the afternoon concluded with a fun and interactive cocktail and mocktail masterclass, where medical secretaries and hospital staff paired up to create their own drinks while getting to know one another in a relaxed setting.

The aim of the event was to strengthen connections between the different teams involved in the patient journey and ensure that those who are not based at the hospital still feel supported, valued, and part of the wider Runnymede Hospital community. đź’™

Another wonderful review from a previous patient at Runnymede Hospital!

"I honestly couldn’t fault my experience at Runnymede Hospital. Every single person I came into contact with was kind, caring and professional, and I felt incredibly well looked after from the moment I arrived until I went home. I was particularly anxious about having a general anaesthetic and the staff were absolutely wonderful with me. They listened to my worries, reassured me and made me feel safe and at ease throughout the whole experience. The level of care I received before and after my procedure was excellent, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A huge thank you to everyone involved in my care — you made what was a very anxious day so much easier for me. I’m extremely grateful."
