If you're aged 17 or 18 or starting university or eligible residential further education this autumn, you may be eligible for the MenB vaccine.

Today marks 15 years since Pelton Fell Pharmacy first opened its doors.

Looking back, it’s hard to believe how quickly the years have passed. There have been many wonderful moments and, like any independent business, some challenging ones too.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing team, past and present, for their dedication and hard work, and to our loyal patients and customers for the support you’ve shown us over the years. Your kindness and trust have meant more than you know.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of the Pelton Fell community, and it’s clear just how important having a local pharmacy is for the village. Thank you for allowing us to be here for you over the last 15 years. Here’s to many more.

🆕 A free MenB vaccine programme will be available at a number of community pharmacies, later this July. Just 2 doses of the MenB vaccine helps protect against serious illnesses like meningitis.
Who can have it:
🏫 All current Year 13s
🧑‍🎓 Anyone either starting university as an undergrad or moving into further education halls for the first time in autumn 2026, aged under 25

We are aware of a social media post referring to “Pelton Pharmacy”. We would like to clarify that the incident being discussed does not involve Pelton Fell Pharmacy, our team, or our delivery driver.

We are very sorry to hear that an animal has been seriously injured, and our thoughts are with everyone affected. We understand this is an extremely upsetting situation for all involved.

As the matter is being dealt with elsewhere, we will not be commenting further. We simply wanted to clarify that Pelton Fell Pharmacy has no connection with the incident to avoid any confusion.
