Reflexology is frequently used to support people going through cancer treatment. I’ve been privileged to see the positive results it has for pain management and reduction of anxiety with my own clients and while working at a local hospice. That’s why its so encouraging to see research like this study below:

Summary:
A study of reflexology in children undergoing a specific chemotherapy procedure for leukaemia, found that reflexology positively and statistically significantly reduced pain, blood pressure and heart rate.

Based on the results of the present study, which shows the positive effect of foot reflexology on the improvement of pain and physiological indicators, foot reflexology can be used as a complementary treatment along with conventional therapies.

Yesterday I returned to the Neuro Therapy Centre in Saltney following the summer holidays. It was fantastic to see some familiar faces and provide reflexology treatments to the members.
