💙😊 There's nothing better than getting out and about and spending time with the wonderful people we support.

Our Director Rebecca, couldn't leave without taking a little selfie with these two lovely ladies! 📸💙 We're sure our Chester team will recognise these familiar faces. 🥰

One of these wonderful ladies has been part of the Bluebird Care family for over 13 years, which is quite incredible considering we first opened our doors in 2011! The other may not have been with us quite as long, but she's every bit as much a treasured member of our Bluebird Care family. 💎💙

These aren't AI-generated smiles, they're the real faces and genuine relationships that make what we do so rewarding. ❤️

This week, we’re celebrating three very special people – Lisa, Deryn and Tracey! 🥰

Our team describe Lisa as a genuine superstar ⭐ Kind, caring and always willing to help, even changing her own plans to cover shifts at the last minute. She’d do anything for anyone – always with a smile! ❤️

Deryn is our very own “Tigger the 2nd” 😂❤️ – smiley, hyper, funny and fabulous! She’s a brilliant team player who moves things around to help wherever she can, works incredibly hard and makes even the longest runs more enjoyable! ✨

And a very special shout out to Tracey 💙 Tracey is the wife of one of our customers and has been helping us out too. Both Tracey and her husband are very much part of our special Bluebird Care family, which makes recognising her that little bit more special. 🥰

They had absolutely no idea what was coming when our Director, Rebecca, arrived with their surprise gifts… and dare we say there were a few leaky eyes! 🥹💐🎁

💙 We're delighted to announce that Headway Flintshire is our Charity of the Year! 💙

At Bluebird Care Cheshire West & Flintshire, we're passionate about supporting organisations that make a real difference in our local community, and we're incredibly proud to be partnering with Headway Flintshire. 🧠💙

We've recently been supporting the relaunch of the Flintshire branch and are excited to help raise awareness of the fantastic work they do for people living with acquired brain injuries and their families.

Our Director, Rebecca, recently met with Steven, Chair of Headway Flintshire, to discuss ideas for working together. It was inspiring to hear the real-life stories of people whose lives have been impacted by brain injury and to learn more about the support Headway provides.

We're especially proud of this partnership because we already support people living with acquired brain injuries, so we know just how important charities like Headway are. 💙

👀 Keep an eye on our page as we'll soon be announcing a joint community event to share more about Headway Flintshire, the support they offer and how you can get involved.

🌟💙 Super Shout Out Saturday! 💙🌟

This week's Super Shout Out Saturday goes to the amazing Sarah! 🎉💐

Sarah has only been with us since May, but what an impact she has made already! Our Director, Rebecca, surprised her with some beautiful flowers just before she headed off to support one of our customers. 🌸😊

When we asked the team who deserved this week's shout out, the compliments came flooding in... 💙

✨ "Sarah is great as she helps out even in areas she hasn't been to."
✨ "Everyone has been singing her praises."
✨ "We've had lots of positive feedback about her."
✨ "Really friendly and easy to get along with."
✨ "She has been brilliant! Such a hard worker."

After hearing all the lovely comments from her colleagues, Sarah was genuinely touched and so grateful for the recognition. 🥹💙

And the best part? When Rebecca showed one of Sarah's customers the flowers, they smiled and said:

🌟 "She deserves them... she should be Employee of the Year!" 🌟

Now that's a compliment! 👏💙

A huge well done to Deryn, whose care, attention and professionalism meant she noticed a change in a customer's health that could easily have been missed. 👀💙 By recognising the signs early and taking the appropriate action, Deryn helped ensure the customer received the support they needed as quickly as possible.
