This weekend our ladies had a much-needed little retail therapy trip to Broughton Retail Park, and feeling the Autumn nip did nothing to stop us! Residents splurged a little, purchasing chocolate éclairs to a fabulous new jumper and a cuppa to warm us up. We all enjoyed a fabulous morning with our new driver Nick, thank you Myley! 💙🛍️

This morning we got creative with a wonderful Oktoberfest-themed craft session, making beautiful traditional German hearts filled with heartfelt messages. 🩵🤍🩵

With guidance from Izzy, our residents enjoyed fun, friendship, and plenty of creativity as we worked together with our friends across all our communities. Our special message of "Ich liebe dich" (I love you) was proudly displayed on our handcrafted hearts, spreading kindness and joy all around. 💙

With his guitar in hand and his incredible voice, the amazing Chris Fletcher Guitar/Vocalist created the perfect afternoon of entertainment for our residents at Grosvenor Manor. 🍂🎸🎶

As the autumn days begin to arrive outside, the sunshine was certainly shining inside today! Residents enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of 60s folk and pop classics, singing along, tapping their feet, and waving their pom-poms to the wonderful sounds of Chris.

Thank you, Chris, for another truly memorable afternoon filled with music, laughter, and happiness. ❤️

Grosvenor Manor warmly welcomes residents from Rhiwlas Care Home to join our Oktoberfest celebrations. Rebecca delivered a wonderful performance, entertaining our residents with classic songs and the traditional yodeling sounds of Switzerland.

To accompany the festivities, we all enjoyed b**r, Baileys, and shandy, along with German bratwurst, stollen, and gingerbread hearts, which completed a delightful musical afternoon. By bringing our homes together, Grosvenor and Rhiwlas have fostered long-lasting friendships! 💙
