A busy weekend! 🐝

Joyce spent some time enjoying a sensory game, matching the hoops to the correct coloured cones. She also had lots of fun exploring the different sensory toys, including the doll and spiky ball.

Our other residents have been enjoying a good game of picture bingo, It’s always a favourite!

To round off the weekend, we put YouTube on and enjoyed a good old singalong to some classic 60s music! There were certainly some familiar favourites being sung along to! 🎶

Bean Bag Toss! 🎯🫘

We’ve been enjoying a good game of bean bag toss here at Brookholme!

Our residents had to aim carefully and get the correct coloured bean bag into the matching coloured cone to score points.

It was a great way to have some fun while also encouraging hand-eye coordination, concentration and fine motor skills as everyone worked on their aim and accuracy 🎯

This week we enjoyed trying out a brand new game here at Brookholme! 🎉

The aim of the game was simple, our residents had to use small plastic balls to try and knock the balloons out of the hoop, scoring points along the way! 🎯

There was plenty of fun, laughter and of course a little bit of friendly competition!

Mosaic Flowers 🌸

Yesterday we had a wonderful time gluing and sticking!

Our residents enjoyed getting creative and making some lovely mosaic flowers to brighten up their day.

It was a lovely, therapeutic activity that kept imaginations active while we enjoyed watching TV, listening to music and, of course, having a good natter! 💕
