Pamela Maureen King has passed away at Heathervale Care Home aged 88 years.

Born in Chesterfield, she worked as a Bar Maid at the Golden Fleece Pub in the centre of Chesterfield for around 25 years.

She leaves her husband Richard King.

Her funeral service takes place on Tuesday 18th August at 14:15 at Chesterfield Crematorium

Vicki Madden of Newbold has passed away at Ashgate Hospice aged 66 years.

Vicki lived locally all her life working for Chesterfield Borough Council for 42 years working as an office manager in the Cleansing Department at the Town Hall until her retirement 10 years ago.

She enjoyed football, gardening, spending time with her family and friends, attending Pride events and cooking.

She leaves her children Kerry and Trev, she was sadly predeceased by her daughter Kristy. She also leaves her grandchildren Josh, Lexy, Lean, Kobe and Cole, siblings Sharon, Peter and Shane, predeceased by Joey and Tina,
She has 7 nieces, 5 nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service takes place at the Riverside Club, Markham Suite at 11:00 on Thursday 13th August.

Mr Alan Inns of Hasland has passed away peacefully at Brookholme Care Home aged 93 years.

Alan lived locally all his life working as a Miner at Markham and Glapwell Collieries until his retirement.

He enjoyed holidays at home and abroad, watching sports including his beloved Chesterfield FC, Gardening and listening to Frankie Laine.

Alan was sadly pre deceased by his wife Jean after 63 happy years.

He leaves his god daughters Leanne and Christie, nephew Chris and a number of close friends and neighbors.

His funeral service takes place on Thursday 13th August at 1pm at St Paul’s Church Hasland.

Born in Grassmoor and a lifelong local resident, Jacqueline was a pharmacist assistant at Dents Chemist, Newbold for many years

She enjoyed foreign holidays and dancing, being a member of the Diane Bradbury Group, Chesterfield.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband Allan, 12 years ago.

Her funeral service takes place on Tuesday, 18th August at Chesterfield Crematorium, at 11.15am.

Born in Chesterfield she lived locally all her life working as a teaching assistant and cover supervisor until her retirement 8 years ago.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, spending time in her garden, cooking, baking, going out with friends, jigsaws, puzzles and crafts.

She leaves her husband Geoff, daughter Charlotte, grandson William and sister Elaine.

Her funeral service takes place on Tuesday 4th August at 11:15 at Chesterfield Crematorium.

Mrs Hazel Kathleen Brocklehurst of Walton has passed away aged 83.

Hazel was born in Leeds but since being a child has lived in Chesterfield, spending over 40 years in Walton.

She worked at the Tubeworks doing clerical work since leaving school until her retirement aged 57. In her younger years she also worked part time on Chesterefield Market.

Her hobbies and interests included walking, swimming, holidays and travelling the world. She also enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, sewing and being with her friends and family. She also loved to dance! She was a loving and gentle soul who always had a smile on her face.

Hazel was pre deceased by her husband Barry, she leaves behind her daughters Karen and Louise, 3 grandchildren Sophie, Chloe and Max, 1 great grandchild Frankie, 2 son-in-laws Phil and Russ, 1 brother and 1 sister in law.

A private cremation will take place.
