Residents enjoyed a wonderful day at the Festival of Flowers at Chichester Cathedral 🌸

The cathedral was filled with striking floral displays, giving everyone plenty to admire as they explored. Favourite arrangements were discussed throughout the visit, making for a lovely day out together. 🌿

To celebrate 10 years at Wellington Grange, residents, families and staff enjoyed a “Day at Ascot” themed afternoon 🐎🌿

A horse-shaped floral centrepiece, created by Sam HCA and resident Jill, took pride of place on the tables, arranged with fresh flowers and greenery. Guests moved around the room, pausing to look at the details as they went.

We were delighted to welcome back TOCommunity recently for an afternoon of dance and conversation 💃

The group performed an energetic set, including a routine with sign language, followed by refreshments and plenty of chat with residents. The afternoon ended with everyone joining in to ‘Sweet Caroline’ 🎶 we can't wait for the next visit!

We celebrated 10 years of Wellington Grange in style this weekend 🎂✨

Residents, families, and colleagues at Wellington Grange marked the anniversary with a Royal Ascot–inspired afternoon of garden races, beautiful costumes, and a wonderfully creative fascinator competition.

Live harp music, our very own choir, and a look back at the home’s journey since opening in 2016 made the day especially memorable.

The celebration also raised £200 for St Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester, a cause close to our hearts.

Here’s to ten years of Wellington Grange, and many more to come 🥂

We also had a wonderful time earlier this week celebrating our talented and caring nurses on International Nurses Day 🩵 our chefs made a cake in their honour, enjoyed over coffee with our residents.

We'll continue to give our thanks to all of the nurses out there - we are incredibly grateful for your dedication and kindness!

Residents at Wellington Grange marked World Cocktail Day with a special visit from a professional barman, who transformed the home into a stylish cocktail bar for the afternoon 🍸

From Margaritas and Manhattans to Negronis and Piña Coladas, residents enjoyed watching live demonstrations and sampling a selection of classic cocktails while sharing memories of favourite drinks and social occasions from years gone by.

Resident Colleen said: “It brought back lovely memories of nights out with friends when I was younger.”

A fun and sociable afternoon that was enjoyed by everyone!
