🌸🦋 Our Garden is Blooming Beautifully! 🌿💜

Our residents have been absolutely loving spending time in our beautiful garden, enjoying the fresh air, admiring the colourful flowers, watching the butterflies flutter by and seeing the plants gently sway in the breeze. 🌿☀️ It’s such a lovely, calming space to sit, relax and enjoy nature. 💚

We have a beautiful variety of flowers and plants, including lavender, rhodohypoxis, petunias, foxgloves, hydrangeas, daisies, begonias and many more. 🌼🌷

Our water fountain is another lovely feature, bringing the peaceful and relaxing sound of flowing water to the garden. 💦 It also helps create a welcoming environment for birds, butterflies and other wildlife to visit and enjoy. 🐝🦋

With temperatures reaching 30°C, we enjoyed a refreshing Hydration Hour with plenty of fresh watermelon and water to help everyone keep cool and hydrated. ☀️

Staying hydrated is especially important for our residents during warmer weather, helping to support their wellbeing, maintain energy levels and reduce the risk of dehydration.

A simple but lovely way to encourage everyone to drink a little extra — and the watermelon went down a treat! 🍉🥰

Yesterday, our Lifestyle Team came together to give the garden a well-deserved clean-up. 🌿🌸

We cut back the dead flowers, added fresh compost to our plants, and gave everything a good watering. A little care and teamwork go a long way, and as you can see, a good clean is always needed! We can’t wait to watch our garden continue to bloom. 🌼💚

Our residents had a fantastic evening enjoying a movie in The View, our dedicated cinema room.

To make the experience even more special, we created a cinema trolley filled with sweet & salty popcorn, salted popcorn, and ice cream, giving everyone the chance to enjoy their favourite cinema treats.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles as residents relaxed, watched the film, and enjoyed the full cinema experience. Activities like these create special moments, encourage social interaction, and bring back happy memories of trips to the cinema.

Jackie shared that when she was younger, she used to knit clothes for children. It brought back so many lovely memories for her. 💜

She knitted this square in just an hour as part of our community blanket project. It’s wonderful to see cherished skills being shared again and happy memories brought back to life, one stitch at a time. 🧶✨

Happy National Lipstick Day at Lambwood Heights! 💄✨

Today we had so much fun celebrating by exploring colour analysis and trying different coloured cloths to discover which shades best complemented each resident’s skin tone. Once everyone found their colours, it was time to add the finishing touch with some fabulous lipstick to make their smiles pop!

It was wonderful to see everyone’s confidence shine through, with plenty of laughter, conversation, and gorgeous looks all around. 💋❤️

A huge thank you to Well-Gated Farm for another wonderful visit! 🐐🐓🐑

It was such a pleasure to welcome you back. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting the chickens, goats, and sheep, and it was lovely to see everyone together in the garden.💕

One resident shared that the visit brought back happy memories of when she lived on a farm and had goats of her own. Seeing the animals filled her with so much joy and made the day extra special.

Thank you for creating such meaningful moments and bringing so many smiles to our residents. We can’t wait to welcome you back again! 💚
