Chippenham Community Hub The Hub is by the community for the community. Finding solutions. We are an independent Charity and rely on funding to support the Community needs.

We always look for support and welcome sponsorship too. We provide primarily signposting to resolve any problems whereby people need to know who to speak with to resolve their issue. We offer support, drop in advice, social inclusion for loneliness and educational courses too. As a Hub we provide facilities for Non-profit Organisations to attend for recreational and wellbeing. We have Chippenham o

rganisations attending weekly like Chippenham Knatty Knitters to give social aspects to the Community. We run courses from the Hub in Employability skills, Basic IT and Personal Finance. We have more coming in the New Year. We work with over 50 organisations we work with and some of these organisations set up regularly in the Hub for contact. We work with Rethink Mental Health, Swan Advocacy, Read-Easy, Fraud Prevention and Wiltshire Sight. We are here to support and operate for the public benefit, help deal with poverty and aid social inclusion. Please pop in for a chat and more information.

🎨 Join the Downtown Days group at Chippenham Hub for a special art session 🐦
We are looking forward to a lovely upcoming Downtown Days session at Chippenham Community Hub , bringing people together to enjoy creativity, conversation and connection.
🗓 Wednesday 22 July
🕙 10.00 – 12.00
📍 Chippenham Hub
For this session, the group will be joined by local artist James Aldridge, who will guide everyone to create their own flying bird artwork. Inspired by local birdlife, natural history illustrations and the work of designer Mark Hearld, this is a chance to try something creative in a relaxed and welcoming space.
There is no previous experience needed, and all materials are provided. Alongside the activity, there will be plenty of time for conversation and sharing stories about nature and wildlife.
This session has been brought to the group through Community Conversations working alongside Celebrating Age Wiltshire , building on the fantastic work already happening at the Hub to create opportunities for people to come together.

The most difficult question we get asked is ‘What does the Hub do’ and the short answer we give is ‘Anything that comes through our door that is good for Chippenham, legal, possible….and that others are not doing’.

Of course we also hope to help anyone who comes through our doors with a problem to leave on their way to a solution.
