Sydney the puppy visited on Saturday we think he enjoyed meeting the ladies and Gents just as much as they enjoyed meeting him. Wansbeck is a very dog friendly home with 6 different dogs visiting at various times and we love seeing them

Employee of the month,
Our employee of the month for May is my admin Debbie Ramshaw. Debbie is the heart of the home with so many strings to her bow. She has a big heart and is caring and compassionate with all of the residents whether it be joining in the activities or sitting chatting with them. Debbie supports activities , the kitchen, domestics and laundry and has developed amazing relationships with the families. Debbie’s win was a landslide victory this month which shows just how much she is loved by all. She has been my rock and my confidant since my first day in the home and we would be lost without her. Well done Debbie this is a truly well deserved award. from BEV x

Wansbeck is set in the wonderful Northumberland country side and we are very lucky to have the local community centre/ village hall and a pub at the bottom of our drive. the village hall holds a community coffee morning every week and we visited for coffee and cake and a rest in the lovely garden nearby.

Something different for our May/June fund raising. £2 a ticket of which £1 goes into box A and £1 goes into box B the winner receives one of the boxes and a bottle of Jack Daniels. the other box goes to the resident fund towards our Christmas entertainment this year.
