❤️18 open heart surgeries, with most children now out of Paediatric Intensive Care & recovering on the ward

❤️Lots of Nursing & medical education, supporting our Egyptian colleagues to care for some of the most complex cases, everyone has worked so hard 🙏

Please note that SE Medical: Aesthetics & Skin Clinic will be closed from 11th–17th July.

During this time, I’ll be volunteering as part of the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital team, working alongside Healing Little Hearts in Cairo, Egypt, providing free life-saving cardiac surgery and post-operative intensive care for infants and children.

This year’s camp is held in memory of the beautiful Liv Williams-Helliwell, whose legacy continues to give children around the world a second chance at life. ❤️

Can you help us? 🙏
We’re collecting donations of:
📚 New or nearly new books
🎨 Colouring books
🧸 Soft toys

These small gifts bring so much comfort and joy to children recovering from major heart surgery.
