We are Hummingbird is a community of music lovers who have united to spread awareness of mental health by using music as a platform to encourage people to open up and engage. We Are Hummingbird is a community of music lovers who have united to spread awareness of mental health within the music industry and to support artists suffering worldwide with mental health issues. Now you are a member, you are part of a community who look out for each other. We support each other, we check in on each other, we ask each other how we're doing. It's this support that knits us together... this, and our love of music. Each week we aim to share one of our Hummingbird's playlists, a collection of songs that mean something personal to them, songs that may have helped them through a tough time. Getting back to Structure 📚

August has come to an end, and as summer starts to wind down, we’re gently getting back into our routines.

Structure can be so important for our mental health, giving us a sense of stability, purpose and something to look forward to amongst the busyness of everyday life.

Here’s to a fresh month, finding our rhythm again and creating routines that support us & not overwhelm us💚

In the UK, we have countless spaces dedicated to physical fitness. We know the importance of strengthening our bodies, building healthy habits and investing in our physical wellbeing.

But where are the spaces dedicated to strengthening our minds?

One of the things I noticed in Bali was how many daily practices are woven into everyday life that support mental wellbeing. Reflection, meditation, prayer, connection, nature and community aren’t seen as something to turn to only during difficult times. They’re part of a regular rhythm of life.

It reminded me of an idea I’ve spoken about for years: the Mental Health Gym.

Not because people need fixing, but because mental fitness deserves the same attention and consistency as physical fitness. Just as we brush our teeth, shower and exercise to maintain our physical health, what if we treated our mental health with the same level of daily care?

Mental wellbeing isn’t built in a crisis. It’s built through small, intentional habits repeated over time.

Sorry it’s been a little quiet on here lately… but behind the scenes it’s been busy, busy, busy 🐝

People close to me will know this is something I bang on about a lot… the frustration that we often only talk about mental health when things have already gone wrong. Crisis. Burnout. Breaking point.

But not enough focus goes into prevention, education and giving people the tools before they get there.

The good news? That conversation IS starting to shift.

And honestly, that’s exactly why things have been so quiet on socials lately… because I’ve been flat out doing what I genuinely love. Teaching. Educating. Having real conversations with real people across workplaces, teams and communities.

A huge thank you to every organisation that continues to trust We Are Hummingbird Health to deliver this work 💛

Just returning back to earth from running one of our Ibiza retreats and what a week it was.
 Sun-soaked mornings, deep connection and open conversations. Another incredible retreat in Ibiza complete.

Our September retreat is already sold out, but 2027 bookings are now open. We can’t wait to do it all again with you🪩✌🏼

This week I had the privilege of working alongside the Premier League Foundation as part of Premier League Kicks, hosted by

In between the games, We Are Hummingbird delivered mental health talks to the young people involved, creating space for open conversations, building awareness, and reminding them that their mental wellbeing matters just as much as their performance on the pitch.

Football has an incredible way of bringing people together, and being able to combine that with meaningful mental health support is something I’m really proud to be part of.
