We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ann and her family for allowing us the honour of holding Joe’s wake here at Marley Court. It was a privilege to be part of such a special celebration of Joe’s life. ❤️

Receiving feedback like this reminds us exactly why we do what we do:

“First of all we would like to thank Sally for enabling us to hold Joe’s wake at Marley, it was so fitting for him. To each and every member of staff we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for all the help, warmth and love that you gave us on what was an extremely emotional and difficult day for us. The buffet was absolutely fantastic, thank you so much to catering staff. In our eyes you all went above and beyond. It was so nice for members of staff to be part of the day and it was very much appreciated. All the family were complimenting Marley. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts ❤️ xx”

Today at Marley Court we want to say the biggest THANK YOU to all of our incredible nurses — not only here at Marley Court, but across our whole community too!! 💙🩺

Your kindness, compassion, strength and dedication never go unnoticed. Day after day you go above and beyond to care for others, offering comfort, support and a smile when it is needed most.

Our nurses are truly the heart of Marley Court and we honestly could not do without you all. Thank you for every hand you hold, every reassuring word you give, and every moment of care you provide to our residents and families.

You are appreciated more than words can say and today we celebrate each and every one of you.

This afternoon at Marley Court we have been busy gift making! 🎁💙
Today we made our very own “Nurse Survival Kits” ready for International Nurses Day tomorrow. These little gifts are both practical and a bit of fun, specially made to show our appreciation for all the love, dedication and hard work our nurses give each and every day.
Our nurses do so much for both our residents and our team, and this is just a small way of saying thank you and showing how much they mean to us. We truly couldn’t be without them! 🩺✨
Keep an eye out over the next week or so for more photos of us handing them out to our wonderful nurses.
A huge THANK YOU to ALL nurses everywhere for everything you do! 💐

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Fr Francis to Marley Court to deliver a beautiful Eastertide service. ✝️🌸

We heard all about celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His appearances to His disciples after His resurrection, and His ascension into heaven. It was a wonderful opportunity for reflection and togetherness.

We sang hymns together and were incredibly proud to listen to one of our own residents read a verse from the Bible aloud for everyone. ❤️

A lovely way to bring us all together as a community.

Thank you, Fr Francis, for such a special and meaningful service. 🙏

🌞🎪 SUMMER FAYRE 2026 AT MARLEY COURT 🎪🌞

Join us on Monday 31st August 2026 for our Summer Fayre here at Marley Court! Everyone is welcome and we are so excited to bring our community together for a wonderful day of fun, laughter and fundraising. 💛

There will be something for all the family to enjoy, and funds raised will go towards activities and experiences for our lovely residents here at Marley Court. 🎉

🍪✨ Baking, laughter & a sprinkle of teamwork! ✨🍪

This afternoon at Marley Court we rolled up our sleeves and got busy baking delicious chocolate chip cookies… and what a wonderful time we had! 💛

Natasha and Louise got us started in the kitchen, carefully measuring out the ingredients while our fantastic residents guided us every step of the way 🧁📖 Everyone took turns reading the recipe and adding ingredients one by one — true teamwork in action!

There were plenty of giggles along the way… especially when the flour went p**f into the air as it hit the bowl! 😂 We even had a little baking science chat, noticing how just a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and salt can make such a difference compared to the larger ingredients.

As we mixed everything together, we saw how the dough changed, becoming thick and ready for shaping. Once on the trays, Louise popped them into the oven… and oh, the smell that drifted through the hatch was simply amazing! 😍

We are all so proud of what we achieved together today — and we’re even more excited to enjoy our homemade treats tomorrow while watching The Greatest Showman! 🎬🍪

Moments like these are what it’s all about 💛

A huge congratulations to our Grand National champions Devi and Naveen! 🎉
They picked ‘I Am Maximus’ from the lucky dip… and wow, wasn’t that a winning choice! 🍀🏆
A big well done to everyone who joined in the fun — we loved seeing the excitement and friendly competition. Don’t worry if luck wasn’t on your side this time… there’s always next year! 😉
Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £60 for our activities fund 💛 which will go towards more wonderful moments here at Marley Court.
