Hi 👋 just wanted to let you all know that I am part of the admin team as off last night .

Im Julie and have 20 years experiance as a therapist ,working alongside people with various issues .

I have worked in housing ,benefit sectors ,domestic violence centres for children & adults.
Eight years with the Nhs on mental health wards.
Age Uk for six years bereavment & loss Counsellor .
Counselling children who have been trafficked and abused .
Worked in many different sectors etc....

I accepted this admin role as I want to help support people.I do feel this site needs as many Volunteers and a collective group of people to assist in help running the site .

If anyone would like to support the group it would be much appreciated.

🚶‍♂️🌿 Just Talk Walking Club 🌿🚶‍♀️

Thinking about starting a little walking club for anyone who just wants to get out, clear their head, meet good people, and have a proper chat while enjoying some amazing scenery.

The idea is simple — once or twice a month we organise a walk together, mainly around the Lake District (or wherever the group decides). Nothing too serious, no pressure, just good walks, good company, and good conversations.

Whether you come on your own, with friends, want to meet new people, or just fancy getting outdoors more — everyone’s welcome.

Sometimes all people need is a walk and a talk. ❤️

What does it take to go from never putting on a pair of boxing gloves… to stepping into the ring as a professional?

For Mikey Jennings, it all started at Jennings Gym — learning the craft from his dad, a former professional fighter who’s been there, done it, and now leads as head coach.

From those early days in the gym to winning national titles and representing his country, nothing about this journey has been easy… it’s been earned.

Now Mikey is on the brink of his professional debut — following in his dad’s footsteps, but determined to make his own mark in the sport.

But no fighter gets there alone.

So here’s the question:
Who wants to be part of the journey?

Mikey is now looking to partner with local businesses and brands who want to support a driven athlete and gain real community exposure along the way.
