On Tuesday 28th April we celebrated National Superhero Day. We had games and challenges throughout the day for staff and residents. Big well done to Ray our housekeeper for winning best dressed.

Also a BIG well done to Alber for achieving Hero of the month.

Our lovely resident Gina is from the Philippines, so we at Birch Heath Lodge decided to celebrate Kaamulan festival in her honour. When she was younger Gina would lead the baton twirling in the parades. Gina's family & friends came to join in with the day, the sun came out so we took the celebrations outside. Our great Chef learnt some traditional recipes which received a big thumbs up from everyone. Fun games were played, stories shared. Great day was had by all, especially Gina.
