Drop-in Smear Clinic

A drop-in smear clinic is being held at Mitcheldean Surgery.

This is available for patients who are due or overdue their smear test and are registered with any of the following surgeries:

Mitcheldean Surgery
Drybrook Surgery
Dockham Surgery

No appointment is required — patients can drop in during the clinic.

As well as requesting ANP and GP appointments, Rapid Health can also be used for:

📢 From the 14th July, our online service, Rapid Health will be available during surgery opening times.

👉Rapid Health can be used to:
✅Request appointments with GPs and ANPs
✅Repeat medication
✅Fit notes
✅Ask about test results
✅Update your details

📢 If you are not offered an appointment: your request will still be received and reviewed by our team. We will contact you within 48 hours to confirm next steps.

For any other appointment, please call reception as normal.

Forest Drop-In Service, located at The Main Place, Coleford,

Enablement team for Gloucestershire county council, are a countywide service https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/health-and-social-care/adult-social-care/types-of-care-and-support-available/enablement/

They offer free information, guidance, and practical assistance to adults aged 18+ including:

Help with correspondence and paperwork
Support with Blue Badge applications
Assistance completing paper and online forms
Attendance Allowance applications
Signposting and referrals to other agencies and services
Opportunities to get involved through their service user-led committee
Group outings and social activities
They also host a Coffee Afternoon every Wednesday from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, open to all adults aged 18 and over. It is a great opportunity to meet others, access support, and enjoy a friendly, welcoming environment.
