PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT BY SPONSORING ME FOR OPERATION SWIM
D-Day. 6th June 1944. Allied Forces crossed the English Channel to liberate N**i occupied Europe. Battling blustery seas, they landed on five beaches in Normandy - Utah, Omaha, Gold, June, and Sword. This marked the beginning of the end of World War 2.
Throughout the month of June I will swim a total of 12km - the length of Utah and Omaha beach combined, to raise vital funds for Help for Heroes.
I would be really grateful if you could support me in this challenge - either by donating or taking part yourself.
Thank you 😊

During the month of June I plan to swim the length of Utah and Omaha beaches - a total of 12km . This is not just a test of physical endurance; it's a swim for a cause, raising funds for Help for Heroes, a charity dedicated to supporting those who have put their lives on the line for us. ELECTROACUPUNCTURE
Since introducing electroacupuncture to my practice in 2022, it has never ceased to amaze me. I use it to treat acute and chronic injuries - including muscle strains and tears, ligament and joint sprains. Without fail, patients see a positive improvement in their symptoms.
Electroacupuncture works by continuously stimulating the needle, to clear stagnation (which causes the pain) , and nourishing and tonifying Blood and Qi (the good stuff that helps the injury get better). To assist the healing process further, I also use an Infrared therapeutic lamp. This increases the blood flow and circulation of Qi to the affected area.

If you are struggling with an acute or chronic injury and haven't tried electroacupuncture yet, then please don't hesitate to give me a call - 07786 432330

On Thursday, this little old country girl left the shire to attend an Acupuncture related Anatomy training course at the Dissection labs at King's College, London.

The focus of this one day CPD in anatomy revision was safe needling :
✅️ Improving anatomical understanding
✅️ Enhanced needle placement accuracy
✅️ Deeper appreciation of body mechanic

Thanks to the AAC, Kevin Young and the anatomists/demonstrators at KCL for this fantastic day 😁

Dry needling vs acupuncture
Acupuncture is not a protected title, therefore if a practitioner is actually dry needling, they can call it acupuncture. However, there is a very important difference between the two.
Please take the time to read this article and make sure you are fully informed before you choose a therapist.

A couple of discussions can be made when the topic of dry needling vs. acupuncture shows up.
