An incredible day spent some awesome and inspiring humans - both volunteers and colleagues. Dan's Fund is an incredible charity who does so much for burns victims - I had no idea how much they can help burns victims (esp as there is very little other support out there).

Thank you to all the volunteers for trusting us.
Thank you to Dan's Fund for inviting us along and making it a day to remember.

Working on burns scars can make such a huge difference to their look, feel, sensation and movement and it was an absolute privilege to work with our lovely volunteers - I hope we eased some scars for you all.

So looking forward to this Saturday - I will be in London for the day working with Burn Survivors.
Volunteer work is always a humbling experience and a great opportunity to meet new colleagues - and we are always so grateful to the lovely humans who trust us with their scars.

Let me tell you about this......

Well, it is by far the most relaxing treatment I offer.

It all starts with a lovely warm couch with fleece blankets. Then we progress onto a facial cleanse, exfoliation and toner being applied....all with hot towels and using products.

Then progresses onto a face massage that is rejuvenating, stimulates facial lymphatics and relaxes areas of tension. I also spend an extraordinary about of time massaging the neck, shoulders, arms and hands.

Depending how long you have.....If you have scheduled for 1hr or more....we also fit in a fabulous face mask experience in.

And then to finish off, I apply Facial Oil from

I have never received so much positive feedback from these treatments.... I can integrate them into any treatment to ensure you get what you need out of a session. This is perfect for pampering, neck and tension headaches, TMJ and everyone!

This genuinely fills my heart with joy

A) I helped someone feel more comfortable
B) ScarWork is so powerful and effective, it blows my mind the positive impact it has
C) This client took the time to leave a review ..... People are just soooo busy nowadays, so to take the time to write this makes my heart sing.

I am so grateful to have the experience and knowledge to help people and be a small part of their journey back to health.

I also really love meeting and chatting to people. We can learn so much when we listen to others.

ScarWork

This is the evolution of recovery.

Pic 1. The first (top left) was taken 12mths on from a skin graft. The last (bottom right) taken today.

Determined to help this client with comfort, movement (rotation was restricted) and sensation, I set to work and saw him every 3 weeks for 6mths.

Do you see the colour, texture and thickness changes? It is no longer matted, raised or fiery pink/purple. His arm rotates without restriction.

Today was the official last sessions for the moment..... I'm sure it will continue to heal, but the initial objectives have been achieved - beyond what we expected AND in a relatively short period of time.

ScarWork continues to be my passion. I never underestimate the privilege it is to be a part of a healing journey.
