Thank you to everyone who has commented on my last post or has messaged me privately 🥰 it has meant a lot to have the support.
Being a self employed associate in a clinic is the norm in all the osteopathic clinics I have worked in, therefore employment law doesn't really cover me for my maternity leave, and it's not something I am looking to pursue. It's stressful enough financially being self employed when going on maternity, I would have appreciated being told more than 2 months before I planned on starting back that I wouldn't be able to.
Luckily just under three years ago I set up The Willow Health Clinic with my husband. I have started back to work here, but due to the success of our team and childcare I have limited times when I can work, which is one of the reasons I was planning on returning to frinton as well as seeing patients that I have know for many years since working there.
I will keep you updated on any changes to my work diary going forward 💕 Sunny warm photo of me and Florence on a very cold night! 🥶
