Herniated disc

A herniated disc occurs when the inner nucleus of an intervertebral disc pushes through a tear in its outer layer, leading to irritation or compression of nearby nerve roots.

This can result from disc degeneration, repetitive overload, poor posture, or acute injury. The symptoms are not only mechanical but also inflammatory, which explains why pain can radiate and persist.

⚡ Common signs include low back or neck pain, radiating pain into the limbs, numbness, tingling, and sometimes muscle weakness.

đź’Š Most cases respond well to conservative treatment, especially physiotherapy, movement-based rehabilitation, and load management. Surgery is reserved for severe or persistent neurological cases.

📌 Early diagnosis and correct rehabilitation are key for full recovery.
