NHS England is validating the GP register. If you receive a letter from NHS/PCSE please don't ignore it. If you do not respond you may get removed from the practice without you knowing.

If you have not contacted the practice in the last 3 years (or have a friend or relative who hasn't) please get in touch and update your details with a member of our team.

Due to strike action at our local laboratories in Blackburn and Burnley, we are not currently able to offer routine blood testing at this time.

All GP Practices in East Lancashire are closed Thursday 11th June 2026 from 1pm to 6.30pm. This enables practices to provide dedicated training to their staff and to plan ways to improve services, meet demand and support staff wellbeing.

For life threatening EMERGENCIES PLEASE CALL 999.

If your request is urgent and cannot wait until Friday please call 111.

For all requests for results, prescriptions or general enquiries please submit an admin request using the link below.

Non urgent appointment requests can be submitted via our online system, but these will not be reviewed until Friday 12th June 2026.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far towards our fundraiser for East Lancashire Hospice ❤️

We are absolutely overwhelmed by the support, and together we have raised an amazing £2,668 so far!

This Saturday, four members of the practice Olivia Brown Kirsty Procter Denise Ashworth & Lauren Haken, alongside members of Hyndburn Rural PCN, will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to help raise money for this incredible cause.

We are closed on Thursday 14th May 26 from 1pm to 6.30pm for a Protected learning Event. During this time GP cover is commissioned by the ICB via NHS 111. If your medical request cannot wait until we reopen tomorrow at 8am please call 111. For emergencies please call 999. Routine and admin requests can be submitted online but will not be reviewed until Friday 15th May 26.

Some of the staff from the practice will be taking on the legendary Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge alongside an amazing team of colleagues from Hyndburn Rural Primary Care Network — and believe me, the word challenge is no exaggeration.

We’re facing steep climbs, long miles, and a real test of endurance that will push every one of us to our limits.

We’re doing this in support of East Lancashire Hospice, a truly incredible charity that provides compassionate, vital care to patients and their families when they need it most.
