My home from home Eastthorpe Hall 🌿

I’ve just finished my last regular class of the week (outside, in the shade of the trees, listening to the birds) and I’m looking forward to the two special workshops I’m hosting here this weekend : Relax & Unwind and Book Club!

Both are full this time but the next sessions are open for booking. Here’s a bit more info:

✨ RELAX & UNWIND: Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra & Reiki. 75-minutes of pure relaxation. Think bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, calming music and a soothing atmosphere. Friday 18 September.

📚 YOGA & BOOK CLUB: This month we’re talking about The Offing (a beautiful novel) - but it doesn’t matter if you’ve read the book or not. Come for the yoga, stay for the sweet treats and joyful bookish chat. Sunday 28 September.

Hope to see you there!

A few lovely moments from my Wednesday 🥰

This is a beautiful studio and a lovely group, who are all quite new to the Reformer, and we’ve had fun learning the fundamentals and trying something new.

I was invited to teach a yoga class at a retreat day at My Little Farm Spa, and it was so special. The ladies on the retreat commented how they’re going to remember sharing that experience forever and me too, girls, me too!

Always a pleasure to see my lovely client and her dog Percy who sits with us by her mat during the practice - very sweet 🐶

I think Anne Lammott’s books are going to be my new obsession. One thing I loved from the podcast was the reminder that we’ve not met all the people we are going to be friends with yet. Isn’t that a nice thought?

Looking forward to using a just teaspoon and then the rest of the jar living in my cupboard for the next few years (not the biggest fennel fan, but maybe this recipe will convert me) 🧈🥚

Not pictured: the huge cup of tea on the side 🫖☕️

A walk in the warmth - I feel so lucky to live near a farm that I can walk round to and see the sheep 🐑🌾

Gotta be done 🧹

Such a nice studio! I loved this class with Kristina - it’s always so fun to try some new movements, and I really got quite warm doing it 🥵💪 . Also this studio is perfect for being on the way to my…

BSTC - this was one of the first classes I ever taught when I qualified and I love that I still see so many of them each week ❤️

A relaxing end to a gorgeous and busy in the best kind of way Wednesday, going to bed feeling so grateful that I get to do what I do 🍜🚿📚🥱🛌

We take tea breaks very seriously in this household… 🫖🥐

I picked up the lemon & blueberry turnover this morning from Mill Kitchen & Bakery where there was stiff competition from a pistachio morning bun and the classic pain au chocolat 🥐

And I’m re-reading The Offing ready for this Sunday’s book club to refresh my memory but also because it’s such a nice outdoor-in-the-garden-with-a-brew sort of read.

What are you reading at the moment? Send me a recommendation that I can take to book club! 📚✨

So happy with this joyful little piece of art that arrived this week (by Natalie Cass Art | Art Prints 🎨) which, funnily enough, I managed to spill a bit of my Yorkshire Tea on when I was taking a photo ☕️🫖

Summer can be a great time to try yoga. From the long drives to trips out, warm days in sat in front of a computer in the office, or being laid in the sun - come and find your flow to refresh and recharge.

I’m offering a three class “Try Yoga” pass for this summer - plus who doesn’t want to enjoy a Savasana in the Eastthorpe gardens after class?

Message me for details or see my website 😎☀️🌻💛
