How much shoulder mobility do you have? 👀

Shoulder mobility plays a huge role in how freely and comfortably you move.

In this session, I’m working with my client through assisted stretches to help improve their shoulder range of motion, release tension, and encourage better movement.

Mobility isn’t about forcing your body into a position, it’s about gradually creating more freedom and control in your movement.

If your shoulders feel tight, restricted, or uncomfortable when reaching overhead, behind your back, or during training, it may be time to work on your mobility.

How’s your shoulder mobility? Drop a 👇 if you need to work on yours!

Still stretching yourself? You’re missing this 👀”

If you’ve never tried an assisted stretch, let me introduce you to one of my favourite treatments.

I’ve recently added Thai Yoga-inspired assisted stretching to my treatment menu,a treatment where I guide your body through gentle stretches and movement, helping you release tension and explore a greater range of movement.

Think of it as a little reset for your body… without you having to do all the work yourself. 😌

I originally added this treatment because I really believe our bodies need more than a quick stretch here and there.

If your body has been feeling tight, stiff, or like it could use some attention, this could be exactly what you need.

UNLOCK YOUR SIDE BODY 🔓

That “stuck” feeling in your shoulder?
It might not be just your shoulder.

Tight lats + QL can limit how freely your shoulder and upper body move.

Assisted stretching helps you go deeper, move better, and create more space where you need it most.

Unlock your side body. Unlock your movement.

Have you tried Assisted stretching yet?

POV: You Notice Your Own Posture While Treating Clients 👀

One thing I’ve started paying more attention to when watching my treatment videos isn’t just my technique… it’s me.

My posture. My body mechanics. How I’m standing and positioning myself around the table.

And I noticed I’m often shrugging my shoulders, rounding my upper back and working from awkward positions.

Then I wonder why my shoulders and lower back are sometimes killing me! 😂

It’s a good reminder that as therapists, we need to look after our own bodies too.

Even something as simple as adjusting the treatment table height can make a huge difference.

Your technique matters, but so does the body delivering it. 💪

When I work with deep tissue massage, my approach is slow, deep, and intentional.

My mind is fully focused on the target. I’m not just feeling the muscles — I’m observing the tissues, restrictions, and areas that need attention so I can work with purpose.

Sometimes, when my clients are talking to me, I stay quiet. Not because I’m ignoring them… but because I’m listening to their body. 😌

I’m fully concentrating on the area under my hands, feeling the tissue and focusing on what needs to be addressed.

So, if you ever catch me being quiet during a treatment… now you know why. 😃

In this video, I’m fully immersed in the front of the shoulder, targeting the biceps, deltoid, and those attachment points that can contribute to restricted shoulder movement.

Slow. Deep. Intentional. Present.
That’s how I work. 💆‍♀️✨

Can your shoulder blades actually move freely?

Years of stress, training, and poor posture can leave them feeling "stuck."

✨ Deep Scapular Release helps free up movement, reduce tension, and leave your upper body feeling lighter than ever.

Spread your wings and fly. 🪽

🔧 Why do I use IASTM alongside manual therapy?

When I treated Lee's "stuck" shoulder, instead of working only on the shoulder, I also treated his lats in a side-lying position.

Why? Because tight lats can restrict shoulder movement by limiting overhead range and affecting how the shoulder blade moves. Releasing these tissues can help improve mobility and make manual therapy more effective.

Treat the cause, not just the symptom. Every treatment is tailored to how your body moves.
