βš½πŸŽ‰ What an incredible three days we've had at our Kellogg's Football Camp at Louth Wood Lane! πŸŽ‰βš½

What an absolute blast it has been! We've been treated to three fantastic days of football, smiles, new friendships and plenty of unforgettable memories. A huge thank you to every player who joined us and made the camp such a brilliant experience.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Grimsby Town first-team player Henry Brown alongside the one and only Mighty Mariner for a very special player appearance! πŸ–€πŸ€

Henry was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. He took the time to answer some fantastic questions from our participants, shared his experiences of becoming a professional footballer, posed for photos and even got involved in some football activities with the children – something they absolutely loved!

What made the visit even more special was Henry's journey. As a youngster, he attended our football courses before progressing from Louth Old Boys, into the Grimsby Town Academy, and now representing the Grimsby Town first team. Seeing that pathway come full circle was incredibly inspiring for all of our participants and is a brilliant reminder that with hard work, dedication and enjoyment, dreams really can become reality.

A huge thank you also goes to Grimsby Town Football Club for their fantastic support throughout the week. From arranging Henry's player appearance, bringing along the ever-popular Mighty Mariner, to providing official club photographer Jon Corken, whose professionalism, as always, was second to none. Jon has captured some fantastic photos and videos of the camp, helping to showcase what an amazing few days it has been. We really appreciate the continued support from everyone at the football club in helping us create such memorable experiences for our young participants.

We've had an amazing week at Louth and can't wait to do it all again next week at Clee Fields!

⚽ There's still time to book your place, so come and join us for another fantastic few days of football, fun and unforgettable experiences! πŸ‘‰ https://officialsoccerschools.co.uk/grimsby/

β˜€οΈβš½ Summer is nearly here – We Can't Wait to Welcome You! βš½β˜€οΈ

The countdown is almost over! We're incredibly excited to welcome hundreds of young people to our Grimsby Town Foundation Summer Football Camps over the coming weeks.

Whether you're joining us in Grimsby, Louth, Immingham or Caistor, or our HAF courses in Grimsby, our coaching team is ready to deliver a summer full of football, multi-skills, fun, new friendships and unforgettable memories. πŸ–€πŸ€

At Grimsby Town Foundation, providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for every child is at the heart of everything we do. We continually listen to feedback from parents and carers and use it to improve our programmes.

As part of this commitment, we have introduced a no mobile phone use policy for children during camp activities and break times. This helps us protect all participants by preventing photographs being taken of other children, reducing access to age-inappropriate content and ensuring mobile phones are not used in changing room areas. If a child needs to use their phone, they will always be supported and supervised by a member of our staff.

As we head into the summer, please remember to come prepared with:
βœ… A packed lunch
πŸ’§ Plenty of drinks
β˜€οΈ Sun cream and a hat
πŸ‘• Clothing suitable for the weather
⚽ Football boots/trainers and shin pads

Thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support. Together, we're creating an environment where every child can develop their confidence, make new friends and simply enjoy playing the game they love.

We can't wait to see you all this summerβ€”and we look forward to welcoming many more young people to our football programmes throughout the year.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ USA Summer Update – Lily & Abi πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Another fantastic week for Lily and Abi as they continue their summer adventures in the USA!

Lily spent last week in Frisco, Colorado, once again taking on the role of Camp Director. The camp was another great success, and she did an amazing job leading the team and working with the children. Away from camp, Lily stayed with a lovely host family in Dillon, who have three children, all originally from El Salvador. It turns out her GCSE Spanish finally came in useful! πŸ˜‰ During the week, they also enjoyed some rock climbing and a visit to Copper Mountain Ski Resort.

After camp, Lily reunited with her very first host family, spending the weekend supporting Finn and Sydney at their soccer tournament. This week, she's working at the International School of Denver, and has been treated to tickets to watch Denver's brand-new professional women's soccer team on Friday, before rounding off the celebrations with the spectacular 4th of July fireworks. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŽ†

Meanwhile, Abi has been enjoying another memorable week at Ridgecrest, where she's once again been Camp Director, leading the Tiny Tikes programme in the middle of the California desert. Despite the heat, the week was packed with fun both on and off camp. She explored a nearby western-style town where she picked up a pair of cowboy boots, enjoyed an evening of bowling (without wearing the boots! πŸ€ πŸ˜‚), and, of course, made plenty of trips for ice cream to cool down. 🍦

On Sunday, Abi took some time to relax with a visit to the beautiful Newport Beach, before travelling to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she's spending a well-earned week off enjoying the 4th of July celebrations.

It's been another incredible week full of leadership, new experiences, and unforgettable memories for both Lily and Abi. We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ€οΈ
