The fabulous and of course have helped us get supplies to the stabilisation points of South East Ukraine where injured victims are taken for critical medical care. Often their clothes will be destroyed in the blast so maybe transported to hospital without any clothing at all!
Thanks to this wonderful collaboration of people we have been able to supply clothing and shoes to these critical units so patients can be transported with as much dignity and comfort as possible

Nice post by .in.motion about leg strength and cognitive function. This also applies to balance and coordination as stronger legs reduce your chance of disability in later life, let alone permit you to have a better quality of life.
And the truth of the matter is that you don’t even have to smash it in the gym 7 days a week. One decent effort resistance training session a week can sustain or build muscle mass and keep you functioning better for longer

It may seem bad at the time but you’ve got to remember that Catastrophizing pain gives your brain the feedback it needs to keep the problem going. Ankle and hip strengthening with controlled articular rotations will help soften the heel strike and shockwave can help manage the pain
Also remember to keep doing what you love to help distract you

A real privilege to be asked to be one of the medics for yet another successful adventure
A lovely group of people who kindly raised funds to buy ambulances and cars to support the phenomenal volunteers and NGOs working in Ukraine. Border crossing, receipt of the vehicles and distribution of the huge amount of aid was facilitated beautifully by and had to be one of the quickest border crossings of my career! 🙏

Thank you again to the wonderful people who donated to this amazing convoy, those who donated the vehicles and the aid, everything you do saves the lives of so many fellow humans and animals and helps to balance good against all the cruelty in this world at this time.

Simple orthotic hack for flatter feet. Get a cheap orthotic shell, get some 5mm orthotic sticky back wedge strips, shove in shoes
