The Denise Park practice is a world-renowned physiotherapy clinic providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders to both elite athletes and the general public. Since our creation in 1989 we have been committed to helping people achieve their individual goals and employ a diverse range of treatment techniques to achieve this. We regard our physiotherapists’ st

rong emphasis on “hands-on” treatment approaches, such as massage, mobilisations and manipulations, as key to our success, and we also have a dedicated remedial and sports masseur. In addition, our physiotherapists utilise other treatment techniques, such as electrotherapies, traction, acupuncture and exercises in order to help achieve the best possible outcomes. We pride ourselves in accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment, but if by any chance we can’t sort you, we hopefully know someone who can! Denise Park is the only physiotherapist to receive accreditation from the World Mountain Running Association for her work with fell and mountain runners and was recognised as the world leading expert in this field in 2011 when she was invited to write a chapter in a medical textbook (Adventure and Extreme Sports Injuries). She has been the physiotherapist to the England Mountain Running Team for 10 years and has worked with 7 World Champions. All our other therapists also have experience of either treating elite athletes or competing in sports at an international level. We are BUPA accredited and registered with all the major health insurance companies. Many of you know that I am on the organising committee for the Three Peaks Race supported by Inov-8.
We very kindly have 2 minibuses donated to us for race week-end by Intack Self Drive Hire in Blackburn, but we need to provide 2 drivers.
We are struggling to find drivers this year, so I was wondering if any of my friends would be able to help out.
The minibus needs to be picked up on Fri 24th April from Blackburn, then driven up to Horton-in-Ribblesdale on Sat for the race. The bus then transports runners around on race day and needs to be returned to Blackburn on the Sunday.
The bus could even be used to transport you and some of your mates to the race to save you using your own fuel!!!
If you compete in races, please think about helping to give a bit back.
