Blepharitis is inflammation of your eyelid, those over 50 years of age are generally more likely to develop this condition.

Symptoms include:
- Dry, irritated eyes.
- Eyelids sticking together in the morning.
- Flakes or crusts around the root of eyelashes.

Luckily, blepharitis is not usually serious, however, if untreated it can lead to issues such as ulcers, styes and conjunctivitis.
